Mike, who joined St Paul's in 2001, ran the gruelling 26 mile race to raise funds for St Paul's Eye Appeal. These funds will help research new treatments to prevent the commonest causes of blindness. Mike is one of the team of 14 consultants based at St Paul's who treat around 90,000 people with vision problems each year. Mike clocked up an impressive 60 miles a week running in training for the race and will also be running in this year's Liverpool half marathon with a target time of 90 minutes. Mike Briggs:
