Elvis (aka Dave Gough) aided by John Quayle made a sensational comeback at our 2005 abseil. The St Paul’s Eye Appeal and The Linda McCartney Centre 2008 Abseil is fast approaching.

Do you think you could go over the edge again for charity or do you know someone else you could rope in?

Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September 2008 are the dates to remember if you want to relive that memorable event, but this time why not share that experience with someone close to you? Either bring a mate along on the day or, if you can’t make the abseil this year, why not let someone else know?

Check out one of the participant’s abseil from 2007 on YouTube.

The abseil is not only a challenge and an opportunity for self-discovery but remarkable levels of funds are raised for the St Paul’s Eye Appeal and The Linda McCartney Centre. Last year an amazing £28,000 was raised due to people like you, making our total since 2003 a staggering £110,000. As you may know 2008 will be the abseil's fifth anniversary, so everybody within both charityies are excited and eager to fill the 250 places to make this year’s event even more spectacular. With your support we aim to raise £40,000 to make the five year total sum £150,000.

We rely on the support of people like you. Fundraising this year couldn’t be easier with online sponsorship so that family, friends and the office across the globe can know about what you’re doing.

We look forward to seeing you again.

If you would like further information please phone Heather Sutton in our fund raising department on 0151 706 4291. The only restriction is that you must be over 16 years of age and that you raise a minimum amount of sponsorship of £100.
